Blog #6

For my game choice I decided to play, "Until Dawn". After researching the game before purchasing I like the plot of how teenagers were stuck in a situation and you had to help them get out of it. I am use to playing games that I have to control what the characters do inside of the game. I could see in the game "Until Dawn" that I had to chose the characters fate in who lives and dies. I played the game with two other friends. Often we had to decided what we wanted to keep or what we wanted to do with the characters. In the end me and friends saved all but three of the characters. I believe that was good because it was possible for us to have 0 survivors and we didn't. I believe that since the game was horror it made me more interested in what was gonna happen throughout the game.
The way that they set up the characters to have certain relationships with each other so they would feel bad if something happened to one or another or they weren't saved from being killed is what helped me make some of the decisions that I made while playing the game. It was easier to decide wither to kill a brother than his sister. Or to save a girlfriend rather than killing her not her boyfriend. Picking up stuff to help you along the way like bats, I believe if you played smarter and thought out your decisions the results would be much better.

I could relate the story line of this game to, "Through the Woods", I say this because at first everything was suppose to be going go for the character than everything leads to this sort of terror and their whole world goes into a spin. All in all, I enjoyed playing this game with my friends and I believe I would play it or something similar on my own.
