For my game choice I decided to play, "Until Dawn". After researching the game before purchasing I like the plot of how teenagers were stuck in a situation and you had to help them get out of it. I am use to playing games that I have to control what the characters do inside of the game. I could see in the game "Until Dawn" that I had to chose the characters fate in who lives and dies. I played the game with two other friends. Often we had to decided what we wanted to keep or what we wanted to do with the characters. In the end me and friends saved all but three of the characters. I believe that was good because it was possible for us to have 0 survivors and we didn't. I believe that since the game was horror it made me more interested in what was gonna happen throughout the game.
The way that they set up the characters to have certain relationships with each other so they would feel bad if something happened to one or another or they weren't saved from being killed is what helped me make some of the decisions that I made while playing the game. It was easier to decide wither to kill a brother than his sister. Or to save a girlfriend rather than killing her not her boyfriend. Picking up stuff to help you along the way like bats, I believe if you played smarter and thought out your decisions the results would be much better.

I could relate the story line of this game to, "Through the Woods", I say this because at first everything was suppose to be going go for the character than everything leads to this sort of terror and their whole world goes into a spin. All in all, I enjoyed playing this game with my friends and I believe I would play it or something similar on my own.

If I had to compare "Blankets"and the documentary "Jesus Camp", I would say they both speak on the subject of Religion mainly focusing on Christians.  "Jesus Camp" focuses on a camp of Christians and they discuss how they believe they should act and be trained so they can be a "example christian". I use this term because basically in all reality no one is really a example christian because they point out the flaws in how these people go about their religion. They make their religion look more of a group of people in a secret society, where as religion should be about the freedom to express who and what you believe in. It seems as if they are brain washing these children to be certain ways based on what they believe and the children can not decide for their selves what they want to do and be.
In "Blankets", Craig goes to the same type of bible camp and they display the same type of values and flaws. They are forced to know and recite bible scriptures. One of his camp mates even makes fun of him for still reading the bible because he says their forced to read it enough.  The camp in the comic is basically just like the one described in the documentary "Jesus Camp", because people are forcing kids to relate to religions based on what they believe in. When in all reality it should be the kids choices to learn and believe in who and whatever they want to.

I choose this picture because it shows the diversity in women. They are all different shapes, sizes, and ethnicity's. They show that there is something different about all of the women in the world. It could also compare of how the women inside of the comics that we read all look like the women towards the right side of the picture but in reality they look like the women on the left side. All of these women are beautiful and this is why this is a on going problem in the world today because they want all the women in media outlets to look one way but in reality there are many types of women in the world.  This also relates to how the women in these comics are taught that they have to look certain ways to be featured as main characters in these comics. They aren't many overweight comic characters as depicted in the picture above. This also plays into the fact that many girls have low self esteem because they think they should look certain ways but no woman looks like another everyone is different in their own way. The women in the picture above are clearly different so why cant they be depicted as different in many different media outlets just as comics? There are many unanswered questions on why people are taught that they have to look and act a certain way to be featured in the media and the change starts with us as  a society and things will not change if we do not. This is how i think this picture relates to the diversity that is discussed in class and in the text.

Ted Talk Quotes:
"I wanted to create a hero that is often misunderstood or maligned, for a generation that is often misunderstood and maligned."
"If the system is broken, you cannot fix it from within.  You have to create a new one."
"For a series like this to succeed, it would have to shatter decades of conventional wisdom."

Ms.Marvel Quotes:
"Women are the fastest-growing reader demographic in comics, yet they still routinely get harassed, fake geek girl'd, and confronted with hypersexualized images like these. And then, as a bonus, they get mocked by the very people who make them uncomfortable."

"They should be posed SUBMISSIVELY and VULNERABLY, that means they shouldn't be looking at the audience saying f**k you, they have to say f**k me."

In this picture from the game "Journey", it has a lot of colors and distinct background. What stuck out to me the most is the figure and how its looking onto the sunset over the mountain. The dark colors represent the mountains and how the figure is overlooking what lies beneath him. The sun is colored bright and yellow behind the clouds. After seeing the picture I would think that the figure destinations is the mountain and he has a journey to get there. The colors are bright because it signify how getting to mountain is the goal and what the figure is looking at.

This is my favorite picture from "The Arrival". Using Molly Bang's the dark colors show the fear in the people that are running away as some of the people are being sucked up by the vacuums that these giant men have. This picture shows ciaos and looks like it is a smoky background and the men are destroying things.  I believe the main point of the picture is to show the fear and how the people are running away and getting sucked up the vacuum. I believe they are taking over a town or village.

This picture also comes from "The Arrival", I'm not sure what the two figures are but I know that they are either shaking hands like they are welcoming each other or they are handing each other something. I believe that they are from two different places because they both have different things on their boats. As far as color i cant really tell because its in black and white but I know that this signify that this is old and it was a long time ago. In the far left corner you can see people and they are probably waiting for the boat that is in the middle picture or they know people on the boat.

In this coca-cola advertisement, its set during the summertime and the lady inside of  the advertisement seems as if she is happy and having fun.
This picture is clearly set during the summer time because the man behind her is not wearing a shirt. Using "Molly Bang: How Pictures Work", this lady is clearly the center of attention that why she is holding the coca-cola bottle.
The colors inside of the pictures give off a vibrant feel and make you attracted to her as soon as you look at the picture.
